Who we are

Humanly Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates the website humanlylabs.pages.dev and related tools. We are based in Sydney, Australia. Contact us at humanlylabs@proton.me with any privacy questions.

What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our tools:

• Email address — if you voluntarily provide one on the quiz intro screen. This is optional. We use it to notify you of new tools and relevant updates.
• Quiz answers — stored temporarily in your browser's sessionStorage only. They are never transmitted to our servers and are deleted when you close your browser tab.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe or Gumroad. We never see or store your card details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Gumroad's Privacy Policy.
• Usage data — basic analytics (page views, referral source) may be collected by Cloudflare Pages. No personally identifiable information is included. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

How we use your data

• To send you product updates and new tool announcements (email only, if provided)
• To understand how our tools are used so we can improve them
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

Email list

If you provide your email address, you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing humanlylabs@proton.me with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will remove you within 5 business days.

Cookies and local storage

Our quiz tools use your browser's sessionStorage and localStorage to temporarily hold your answers and, if provided, your email. This data never leaves your device via our systems. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

AI-generated reports

The Deep Dive Report feature sends your quiz answers to the Anthropic API to generate a personalised report. Your answers are processed in real-time and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API call, in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not store the generated report on our servers — it exists only in your browser session.

Your rights (Australian Privacy Act 1988)

Under Australian privacy law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au

GDPR (European users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. Our lawful basis for processing your email address is your explicit consent at the time of submission. Contact us to exercise any GDPR rights.

Children

Our tools are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of our tools after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
